This book took me WAY too long to read. I got it May 29th at the release party, signed in all, and I finished it yesterday. I had such trouble actually getting into this book. But just in the last few days I really started getting into it. This book was, in my opinion, not as great as the first one. Though I did enjoy it, I just felt like it fell short in some places. It was too focused on pointless things and I just got bored reading sometimes. One thing that annoyed me was Meadow continuously saying, "The old Meadow is dead" and Zephyr being like "She's not the same". It just annoyed me and the only character who didn't annoy me throughout the book was Sketch.  I did really enjoy the book in the end, it was a good ending for the series. I felt like it didn't resolve everything which I wished it had, but I was pleased with how it ended. I do really recommend this book series for people who like dystopian type novels. It's sort of like a mix between The Hunger Games and Divergent. Overall, I really enjoyed the book and I would recommend it!

Top 5 Characters you wish you could drown


1) Jude Lowe from The Mara Dyer trilogy by Michelle Hodkin

This series is my favorite book series ever. Noah Shaw is just so.....anyways. So Jude. I would drown him because well he tortured Mara and made her life hell throughout the series. No one can touch my favorite characters man. Goodness, I HATE JUDE. So much. I really wanted to throw the book across my room every time there was a flashback with him or a real life scene.The things he did to Mara are terrible. Seriously. Of course we find out why he did these things to her but that doesn't justify it really. Yep, I'd let him drown for sure.  


2) Richie from Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell

Richie is just not a good guy. He's vile really. Should we even consider him a human? Also like Jude, he made me want to throw the book across the room. I'd drown him because he mentally tortures Eleanor throughout the book and was the cause of {spoiler} Eleanor leaving him the end. He is very disrespectful ( more like disgusting ) to Eleanor and her family and it makes me so mad. Like really mad. I would drown Richie without even regretting anything. 



3) Wick Cutter from My Antonia by Willa Cather

I actually read this book for school so chances are no one who sees this has actually read it but I'm still putting him on here. It's said that Wick has been caught in scandals including girls he's hired such as raping them or etc and that itself gets him on the list. He killed his wife so her family didn't get his house so he's pretty bad. Antonia works for Wick and he created a whole plan to get his wife out of town so he can go back and well..you get the picture. Wick is obviously deserving of being drowned.


4) Lord Voldemort from the Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling

Again, I apologize, I ran out of characters to use. Voldemort is probably the most obvious seeing as he's a popular villain from a very popular book and movie series. Destroying him is what the entire series revolves around basically. Voldemort does some terrible things throughout this series, I mean he killed so many people {spoiler} (like Edward Cullen! ...I mean Cedric Diggory...) and destroyed Hogwarts. So here's the most cliche character of this entire list.

5) Tiamat from Tempest Rising by Tracy Deebs


As I  stared at my bookshelf, looking for some character I hated so much but I've sort of run out. It'd be hard to drown a mermaid as well but ahh it's fine. So Tiamat is a sea witch who is very evil. I chose her because I really didn't like her as I read the books in this series. Tiamat destroys the homes of many mermaids and different sea creatures and attempts to kill Tempest on multiple occasions. Again, I don't totally despise Tiamat but I dislike her so she's made it to the list.

I read this book a couple of days ago and I really enjoyed it! I read the book version of this last year and I loved it honestly. This was a great refresher especially since Library of Souls comes out later this year! It hit a lot of major plot points and was very entertaining. The illustrations was amazing, props to Cassandra Jean for those. It begins going straight into Jacob talking about his grandfather followed by {spoiler} his death. It's very fast paced and I read it in under an hour. It, personally, helped me imagine the characters more than I could while reading. Some of the pages didn't have words on them which is part of the reason I went through it so quickly. Overall, this was a great, quick read and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I would definitely recommend it!
